Mobile Control is now available for Embr Wave.

We're proud to announce the official release of Mobile Control, which means you can now control Embr Wave directly from your smartphone. Based on customer feedback, we set out to design a better user experience through the Embr Wave mobile app. Mobile Control is now available via update in the Embr Wave mobile app for both iOS and Android.

How do I get Mobile Control?

Mobile Control is now part of the new Embr Wave app. So just download the Embr Wave app. If you already have the Embr Wave app, just update the app.

What's new?

With Mobile Control, you now have more precise control over the temperature of your Embr Wave through the temperature dial on the Embr Wave app.

Quick Mode and Extended Mode are immediately available for selection on the home page and you can also see how much time has elapsed since you began your session.

We've also added a Cooling Capacity Gauge so you know how much longer your Embr Wave can cool for before it needs to rest.

1. Temperature Dial

The number in the center of the dial indicates the temperature difference between Embr Wave and the base temperature of your skin.

Press and hold - or + to decrease or increase the temperature level and stop when you're satisfied with the temperature level. Once you've hit the maximum level of cooling/warming, temperature dial won't move any further.

2. Quick Mode and Extended Mode

Don't worry! You can still double-knock during a session in Quick Mode to switch into Extended Mode, but we just wanted to give you the option of being able to do it through your phone.

3. Cooling Capacity Gauge

Wondering how much longer your Embr Wave can cool for before it needs to rest? The Cooling Capacity Gauge will tell your when your Embr Wave needs a moment to breathe by turning pink when the gauge almost empty.

Don't worry too much when the gauge turns pink! The gauge will eventually re-fill and become white when your Embr Wave is ready to cool again. 

How can I start using Mobile Control?

For Android users:

1. If you already have the Embr Wave app installed, update it on Google Play. If you don't have the Embr Wave app installed, download it on Google Play.
2. Open the app and pair your Embr Wave device (if needed). For more direction about how to pair Embr Wave, read this article in the Embr Help Center.
3. In the app's settings, tap Firmware to update your Embr Wave with the new Mobile Control firmware.

For iOS users:

1. If you already have the Embr Wave app installed, update it on the App Store. If you don't have the Embr Wave app installed, download it on the App Store.
2. Open the app and pair your Embr Wave device (if needed). For more direction about how to pair Embr Wave, read this article in the Embr Help Center.
3. In the app's settings, tap Firmware to update your Embr Wave with the new Mobile Control firmware.
