Step 2: Charge Your Wave

Why charge before use?

Your Wave may be partially charged when it arrives, but it is important to have a fully charged device to complete the setup and Bluetooth pairing process successfully.

1. Plug in the charger

1. Plug in the charger

Plug the charger's cable into any standard USB-A wall plug or port.

2. Line up the metal dots and pins

2. Line up the metal dots and pins

On the bottom of your Wave, you will see two metal dots. These will line up with the two metal pins on the charging base. Tip: There are magnets to help guide your Wave into the correct position. You should feel it easily snap into alignment when the magnets are close.

3. Place your Wave on the base

3. Place your Wave on the base

Place your Wave onto the charging base. You may find it easier to completely undo the band, or you may prefer to slip the band underneath the base.

4. Check the charging light

4. Check the charging light

The light will start to pulse green to show charging is in progress. The light will turn solid green when you've reached a full charge. (A full charge typically takes 1.5-2 hours.)

What if I don't see the green light?

  1. Check the positioning of your Wave (step 2). Make sure the dots are lined up with the pins and you feel the magnets snapping the device into position. Sometimes a gentle tap is all it takes to adjust the positioning.
  2. Check your plug. Trying plugging into a different outlet or different USB plug.
  3. Check your light settings. In the app, go to Settings> Light Options. Make sure "Show charging light" is toggled OFF.
